Great entry about Emitt in your blog too. Mirror is indeed a fabulous album. Buying a used Mirror LP was actually my first introduction to Emitt. After hearing that I knew I have to get all of his records.

I think Mirror is actually better than ER, but just less ‘instant’. FTP contains several of his finest songs, but unfortunately a few songs meander a bit too much. Still, understandable considering all the pressure he was under.
