Next we bring our party gear to Tampere, Finland and take things relatively easy with Tomi Nordlund & Syvä Joki. This excellent folk rock band released a new album Viisi Vuotta Myöhemmin early in the year and gathered together to play a beautiful acoustic version of album track Olen täällä sinua varten. I’d also like to use this opportunity to thank Tomi Nordlund for all the work he does as the co-owner of one of my favorite Finnish record labels Soit Se Silti. They’ve really given a platform to a lot great artists during the recent years and would deserve a some kind of culture award for their efforts. But that’s kind of another story.
