Video of the Day #30: Michael Claytor & Sam Moss

Tonight I’ve been rather addicted to this video and have probably watched it over ten times. I haven’t done a lot of homework about Michael Claytor yet. I know he has been touring and playing with the wonderful Austin Lucas. This fabulous song is called Hairpins and it’s from an album called We Have An Elephant, which came out back in 2009 (yes, onechord.net isn’t the best place to keep up with new things, I’m way behind). Anyway, you can download this album from their bandcamp site. I just did. It’s 2 am though, so I better leave that album for tomorrow and go to sleep.. after I’ve watched this video once.. or twice..

Video of the Day #29: Klifton Filente

Lately I’ve been very much into Klifton Filente’s latest album Common Ground. The man behind Klifton Filente is Jonas Lundvall from Gothenburg, Sweden. A little bit of folk music, a slice of modern indie pop and a whole lot of really good songs. I think the album is mostly brilliant, but if you don’t take my word for it, you can make up your own mind by downloading the album for free on his bandcamp site. This simple video It Takes A Thorn To Remove A Thorn is an outtake from this beautiful album.

New onechord.net

Welcome to the new onechord.net. I hope it looks decent. I still have some minor issues with the new layout, but I think I’ll leave it like this for the time being. User-friendliness is a big question mark, because one has to click everything open. I might look into that, although custom images seem to cause a little bit of problem there. This is a learning process, but I hope I can get everything sorted out in the not-so-distant future. I think this is already adequate enough and I can just focus on writing stuff for now.
