A lot of new music this week. Really lot. Maybe not albums, but oh my with the amount of singles. This could have been a hundred song monster. So yeah, this is longer than anyone will listen. Sorry about that.
I haven’t had the time to listen full albums, but Daniel Romano and Dalton Mills can share the album of the week honors. Other album releases this came week came from Bobbie Lovesong, Jimmy Montague, Nicholas Campbell, Wolf van Elfmand, The Glass Hours, Jesper Lindell, Jonathan Peyton, Woody Woodworth & The Piners, Caleb Caudle (live EP), Kayla Von Der Heide (EP), Faye Webster, Field Sleeper, Icarus Phoenix (EP), Martha Scanlan & Jon Neufeld, Hannah Frances, Equal Creatures and Curling (Deluxe edition).
My favorite Finnish release is the new double single from Leipä. Another big fave is the debut single from Ystävät is also gorgeous. Then there’s also a great album from M and singles from Joni Ekman Group, Janeveera, Klara LaFleur, Juppe feat Ransukoira and Eerie Deer.
The international singles was the big category this week. There’s so much to love. Impossible to pick a song of the week. We have 70s pop perfection from Fonteyn, classic country gold from the Wonder Women of Country, new singles from all-time faves like Anna Tivel, Daniel Markham, Michael Feuerstack, Mo Troper, Josienne Clarke, Rachel Brooke and Lost Dog Street Band. Also very fond of new songs by Lou Hazel, Trummors, Scott Ballew, ROY, Thee Sinseers and the list goes on and on. What a week.
