Another very late and very quickly done new music weekly, but here’s what I managed to put together.
Alela Diane, Simon Joyner and Thomas Dollbaum can share the album of the week honors. Other great album releases came from The Deslondes, Whitney Rose (EP), Roger Ramsey (EP), Austin Leonard Jones (EP), Kyle Morgan, Trevor Sloan, Adam Ostrar, SPELLMAN, Radhika, Freschard & Stanley Brinks, Ted Lucas (lost album), Roller One, Magic Tuber Stringband, Thomas Csorba, Juana Everett and Jacob Augustine.
A lot of great Finnish stuff this week. I want to highlight the new Olva single. The first Olva single Mehiläisille has been one of the dearest songs to me during this soon 25 year long music blog adventure. Kind of difficult to follow up on that, but no worries. I really love this one too. Other Finnish gems this week are albums from Tams, Tahmela Six, The Icons of Elegance, Silja Palomäki and Surupuseroiset plus singles from Hulda Huima, Hamina, Knipi, Aleksi Oksanen, French Films, Saaramaija Zorawski, Culture Trap, Anemones, Koti and Morimus.
New Le Ren is the international single of the week. Other early faves came from Gina Leslie, Shaun Couture, Avry Truex, Johanna Samuels, Biita Houdei, Fuses, Yea-Ming and the Rumours, Labrador… again just to name a few.
