Folk singer-songwriter Vikesh Kapoor and his debut album The Ballad Of Willy Robbins has already been mentioned a couple times, but it is worth another one because a) it’s been one of my favourite albums this fall and will feature on my upcoming best of the year lists as well b) there’s a new music video. This video song Bottom Of The Ladder is not my favourite moment of that fine album and I think there are 3-4 songs that are even better than this one. But that only shows how strong his album is. Because this Bottom Of The Ladder and it’s a rather wonderful song.

I wrote about T.Hardy Morris in august, but a quick revisit is in order. Since last time, I’ve bought this fine album and there is now a music video for the title track of the album Audition Tapes. It’s also my favourite song on that great record.

I bought the new The Deep Dark Woods album last weekend and I’ve been enjoying it a lot. It’s the new album of the month obviously and full of gorgeous songs. Maybe not quite as stunning as The Place I Left Behind was, but pretty damn close. I’ve also watched this little video so many times that I can’t even count that far. Ok, my math skills are horrible, so maybe that doesn’t sound that impressive. Anyway, here’s a video of The Deep Dark Woods performing Red, Red Rose from their new excellent album Jubilee.
