A very late Sunday night edition of the new music weekly. Almost skipped this one, because I was away whole weekend and got home around 8 pm on Sunday. But here’s what I managed to put together.
I’m Kingfisher is the album of the week. Other big album releases came from Jobi Riccio, Sam Gelband, Casual Technicians (damn this seemed like a fabulous lo-fi album on quick listen, goes on heavy rotation tomorrow), Smug Brothers, The Gnomes (EP), U.S. Highball, Touch Girl Apple Blossom, Adam Ross, Freschard & Stanley Brinks, Kevin Morby, Hunter Morris / Mountain of Youth, Nara’s Room, Emma Swift (EP), Charlie Hill, Ramsey Thornton, Freeman DeJongh, Clem Snide / Eef Barzelay and Degler.
On the Finnish side of things I want to highlight the return of Wojciech. New sigle out now and album to follow soon. Also very fond of the new Laura Moisio and V.Härkönen singles. Other great Finnish things are albums from Ghosts on TV, Saimaa and Aleksi Mattila plus singles from Anton V. Kivi, Auno & Sekosysteemi, Vimma, Suosikki, Jantso Jokelin and Star Marcs.
The international single of the week is the new Ruth Garbus one. I’ve loved both singles and look forward to the album. Other early faves came from Leah Senior, Sera Cahoone, Flora Hibberd, Alex Amen, William Matheny.. again just to name a few.
That’s all for now. Like, share, follow and all the usual promotional nonsense. It all matters. Sorry for everyone I forgot to include this week. This was a quickly done episode. I fill the holes during the coming weeks. Love.

A few Bandcamp cuts for the lovely non-streamers:
Oh and do buy the vinyl/cd/download. Spotify and other streaming services are perfect for these introductory purposes, but try to buy at least the music that matter the most to you
I’ll make the playlist on Spotify and then transfer it to other platforms. This means a few tracks might be missing from the from the other platforms, if they are not available there. Oh and there’s a bunch of older episodes on my Spotify profile, if you miss an episode or want to revisit.
