A very late new music weekly like I mentioned last week. I spent the weekend in Stockholm. The cornerstone of that little vacation trip was to see Hannah Juanita and Mose Wilson at Nalen. Absolutely loved the concert, so if you have a chance to seem them you definitely should. They still have dates left in Sweden and Norway. Anyway, because I was away for the weekend, I haven’t had much time to listen to new music. This was super heavy release week especially on the rootsier side of things. I probably missed a few, but here’s what I managed to put together. This doesn’t include the new stuff from Monday and Tuesday of this week. There’s already some singles out, but I’ll leave them for the next episode.
Probably better not select an album of the week, because I haven’t listened full albums yet. There’s many here that will end up on my EOTY list in December. The week gave us new albums from Avry Truex, Collin Nash, Caleb Caudle, Charlie Marie, Bella White, Gina Leslie, Haylie Davis, John R. Miller (only physical for now), Vandoliers (EP), Bedouine, Wes Parker, Slippers, Labrador, Astrologer, BMX Bandits (lost album), Baby Cool, Widowspeak, Jessica Lea Mayfield & Dolour, Ryan Pollie, Grey DeLisle & Les Greene, The Huntress and Holders of Hand, Deer Tick, Zoh Amba, Jalen Ngonda, Lea Marra & The River Boys, The Two Tracks and Lance Howell (3 song single/EP).
The Finnish part of this has albums from Telephone Romeo and Anemones plus singles from (Sulut), Riippuvaiset and Paula ja Olli. There had to be more, but I didn’t have the time to do a deeper search of tunes.
New TJ Douglas double single can be the international single(s) of the week. Other early faves came from The Satchel Kid, Hurry, Sad Daddy, Sequoia, Jack M. Senff & The Heartland Mission, Hollow Hand, Steven van Betten… again just to name a few.
That’s all for now. Like, share, follow and all the usual promotional nonsense. It all matters. I think next one will also be early week update (monday or tuesday). Back to usual after routine after the midsummer when my vacation ends. Love.

A few Bandcamp cuts for the lovely non-streamers:
Oh and do buy the vinyl/cd/download. Spotify and other streaming services are perfect for these introductory purposes, but try to buy at least the music that matter the most to you
I’ll make the playlist on Spotify and then transfer it to other platforms. This means a few tracks might be missing from the from the other platforms, if they are not available there. Oh and there’s a bunch of older episodes on my Spotify profile, if you miss an episode or want to revisit.
