Another week, another new music weekly. This is always a bit quieter release week due to 4th of July, but that’s good. I needed a bit of a breather.
There’s new albums from Nixon Boyd, Margo Price, Hannah Juanita (Magnolia Sessions), Low Cut Connie, Rhodri Brooks, Space Jaguar (EP) and CS Buchan & Guy Capecelatro III. The Best Westerns one is from early June, but I missed it at the time. Still couldn’t find out a whole lot of info about that one. Most of the songs are old ones. Maybe even all. But it’s Izaak Opatz and co, so it’s great stuff with no expiry date.
The gateway to Finnish part of this is a Berlin-based band funsover that has one Finnish member. The actual Finnish section has singles from Anis Kiitu, Haaveet, Paula ja Olli and Lempi Elo.
The international singles part of this has plenty of gold. Some early faves there came from Angela Autumn, Otis Gibbs, The Roseline, Reb Fountain, The Bures Band, Honey Blazer, Hurry, Bramwell, Twin Bloom, Marina Madden, Jordan Smart.. again just to name a few.
