Jacco Gardner from the Netherlands lists artists like Billy Nicholls, Duncan Browne, The Zombies, The Beach Boys, Curt Boettcher as his influences. So Jacco is definitely a man with great taste in music and he is also able to create a bit of magic himself. Action Weekend Records recently released his debut 7″ single Clear the Air and it is such a great baroque pop/psych treasure. This is the a-side Clear The Air.

Esa Linna recently released She’s Not a Human Being EP and now he made video for the song Piece of Me. There’s also a bit of great news concerning this release. The great Kool Kat Musik mail order will be distributing this in the states and they also have an exclusive bonus disc that contains 11 demos. Should be available sometime soon if not already. Another one for today. Frontier Ruckus also unveiled their new music video. Mona and Emmy is an outtake from their Way Upstate & the Crippled Summer, pt. 2 EP that came out last year. Me and Frontier Ruckus are still in the state of getting to know each other, but I think I already have a major crush. I can only hope the feeling is mutual. After falling for artists/bands like Chris Bathgate, Small Houses and Hezekiah Jones, dating Michigan-based folk group Frontier Ruckus felt like I logical next step and I bought the excellent Deadmalls & Nightfalls album couple weeks back and now it certainly looks like I might end up buying everything they’ve ever done during the next few weeks. This is Mona and Emmy.
