Another week, another weekly playlist.
A strong week of new music once again. Every week is and there’s always so much beautiful songs available, if you take a little time to find them. Let’s kick off the list with the new Philippe Bronchtein song that is the title track of his forthcoming album Me and & The Moon. Releasing this magnificent song was a quick save, but I would still like to tweet him a cat photo every day of the week haha. The week also gave us incredible new singles from Courtney Marie Andrews, St. Lenox, Haley Heynderickx & Max Garcia Conover, Jamie Lin Wilson, Matthew McNeal, Erin Enderlin, Adrianne Lenker etc. Oh and Fight by Vanessa Peters. Love that song so much, but it’s not available on Finnish Spotify. A couple of Finnish songs too this time around. A new song from Jolly Jumpers, one of the all-time best Finnish bands and also a new song from Kielo Kärkkäinen. There’s some pretty special EPs out there as well. I’ve been especially enjoying the ones by Nickel & Rose and Jim Bryson and look forward to spending more time with the new First Aid Kit and Liza Anne during the coming week.
And last but not least the new albums. I have again managed to skip a couple of the bigger ones (time is limited), but the ones that have ruled my weekend are from Fred Thomas, Malcolm Holcombe, Night Shop, Marc Ribot, Emma Ruth Rundle, Sandro Perri, Chris Velan, Cedric Burnside and Willie Nelson. Rae Spoon, Turner Cody and Fables from last week stay on with another beautiful new song.
