Flavour Of The Month set list

Flavour Of The Month was a blast. Both bands were brilliant. Go and see them play, if you have a chance. Also looking forward to some kind of Petty Crimes release, because that gig was just so damn good. I’m not sure can you say the same about the DJ, but this is what I played:

The Gaslight Anthem: American Slang
Elvyn: Lotta Lies
The Fox Hunt: Good Girl
The Fox Hunt: Troublemakin’ Woman
Bobby Emmett: Queen Of Hearts
Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit: Good
Two Cow Garage: Folksinger’s Heart
Teenage Fanclub: Baby Lee
Betty LaVette: What Condition My Condition Is In
The Black Keys: Tighten Up
The Black Keys: She’s Long Gone
Kasey Anderson: All Lit Up
The Wylde Mammoths: Help That Girl
The Hijackers: When I Get Home
The Hold Steady: Soft In The Center
Carolyn Mark & NQ Arbuckle: Downtime
The Brogues: I Ain’t No Miracle Worker
The Litter: Action Woman
The Turtles: Outside Chance
West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band: If You Want This Love
The Exploding Hearts: I’m a Pretender
Old Crow Medicine Show: Wagon Wheel
The Rationals: Look What You’re Doing (To Me Baby)
The Nerves: When You Find Out
Gentleman Jesse & His Men: All I Need Tonight (Is You)
The Sonics: Strychnine
El Goodo: Be My Girl
Tom Tall: Stack-a-Records
Vince Taylor & His Playboys: Brand New Cadillac
Peanuts Wilson: Cast Iron Arm
Stiv Bators: Not That Way Anymore
Teenage Kicks: Restless
Social Distortion: Cold Feelings
Jason & The Scorchers: Mona Lee
The Red Button: Cruel Girl
The Posies: Flavour Of The Month
The Minus 5: You Don’t Mean It
The Screaming Tribesmen: Ice
Mark & The Spies: But I Do
Nick Lowe: Heart Of The City
Anssi 8000 & Maria Stereo: Bachelorism
The Beat: Walking Out On Love
The Only Ones: Another Girl, Another Planet

These were not in any order and I might have forgotten a few. Mostly same old shit (albeit fantastic shit) as you can see, but some newer stuff as well. Anyway, now it’s time to hit the sack, because in 4 or 5 hours our baby kitten wakes up and does some kind of Simon’s Cat imitation if I don’t take her outside for a walk.
