Another week, another new music weekly. Back to normal routine after last week’s biweekly monster playlist.
New Sam Blasucci is the album of the week. Well to be honest, I haven’t listened the whole double album this weekend but it has been released in separate movements throughout the past year and therefore I know it’s a beauty. I look forward to diving into the full album now that it’s out and available. Other big album releases came from Frog, Vincent Neil Emerson, Benjamin Tod, Nick Flessa, Rebecca Tilles and Winston Hightower. It seems like a surprisingly small number of album releases, so maybe I missed a ton of stuff.
On the Finnish side of things I would like to highlight the debut single from Nicholas Francett. I saw him live some months ago and I’ve been eager to hear the recorded material. I love the new Viljami Kukkonen song too and the Slack Bird EP is tremendous. Then we also have new albums from Nevala, Pykäri and Hissun Kissun (well this last one I missed last week) plus singles from Nina Kaitaranta, Icons of Elegance and Jani Matti Juhani feat Henna Emilia Hietamäki.
Leah Senior (not on Spotify) and Mama’s Broke can share the internatioanl single of the week. Other early faves came from Whitney Rose, Creekbed Carter Hogan, Nora Kenny, Bedouine, Rosali, Bella White, Angela Autumn, Shabason & Krgovich, Vandoliers and many others.
